Trico TCWind, Inc. (“Trico”) repairs wind turbines throughout the United States. Inspired by the book The Goal (Eli Goldratt), the owners developed an innovative business model that reduced service times and costs to expand from their Midwest base to become the leading national service provider to the wind turbine industry.
The owners engaged Franklin Partners to identify growth-oriented targets and manage a sale process. The ultimate buyer was Integrated Power Services, LLC, a unit of The Riverside Companies, which was acquiring turbine repair shops serving numerous industries in North America. Our client continues to lead Trico.
