Inter-Tax provided fuel tax processing, compliance, and reporting services, as well as SaaS delivery, to the trucking industry.
Franklin Partners contacted a targeted group of SaaS consolidators, transportation industry service providers, and private equity firms. Comm-Data Network, then a subsidiary of Ceridian Corporation, acquired the business. After closing, one of the owners was tapped to lead the Comm-Data unit that acquired Inter-Tax.
